Compatibility of the hake model with the longline CPUE data

CPUE data for the longline fishery for hake (which are not used in the model-fitting) are superimposed on the corresponding Reference case model-predicted values. Though agreement is reasonable in many instances, it is a concern that the most recent data are much lower than the model predicted values in a number of cases.

Sensitivity of the baseline horse mackerel assessment (i.e. without allowing for special adjustments to account for the very low Desert Diamond CPUE for 2014 and 2015) to the inclusion of dual-rights vessels nominal CPUE is investigated.
