Systematic Analysis of Rotated Dual‐Split Elliptical SRR with Band‐Stop Characteristics

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
In this research article, a novel double‐split elliptical split ring resonator (DS‐ESRR) is proposed to achieve frequency‐notching behavior of ultrawideband filtenna, where the semimajor and minor axes of the ellipse are taken as a bivariate random variable and expressed in Ramanujan’s correction coefficient so that more degree of freedom is available ...

Wideband Minkowski fractal antenna using complementary split ring resonator in modified ground plane for 5G wireless communications

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 3, Issue 9, September 2021., 2021
The enhancement of gain and bandwidth of a Minkowski fractal antenna with CSRR in the modified ground plane is investigated for first and second iterations. Our proposed antenna is suitable for 5G wireless communications having a maximum simulation‐gain of 5.2 dB.

Supramolecular Chirality Transfer toward Chiral Aggregation: Asymmetric Hierarchical Self‐Assembly

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 8, Issue 8, April 21, 2021., 2021
Supramolecular and aggregation chirality, that emerges from an initial chiral bias, leads to a variety of hierarchically self‐assembled structures through a supramolecular chirality transfer, which is significantly influenced by different environments.

Compact Dual‐Band Coupler for Vehicular Beam‐Forming Array

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, Volume 2017, Issue 1, 2017., 2017
A novel kind of compact dual‐band quadrature patch coupler for vehicular beam‐forming array is proposed for the first time in this paper. To keep the performance of the first operating frequency 2.4 GHz (for Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)) and generate the second operating frequency 5.9 GHz (for Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC)) simultaneously ...

Turn Ratio, Substrates’ Permittivity Characterization, and Analysis of Split Ring Resonator Based Antenna

open access: yesInternational Journal of Microwave Science and Technology, Volume 2015, Issue 1, 2015., 2015
The turn ratio, coupling space between sections, and substrate permittivity effects on spilt ring resonator (SRR) are investigated. The analysis of the presented SRR with respect to the effects of substrate and number of gaps per ring to further characterize its peculiarities is experimented with miniaturized capability as our intent.

Transient Hemodynamic Changes upon Changing a BCPA into a TCPC in Staged Fontan Operation: A Computational Model Study

open access: yesThe Scientific World Journal, Volume 2013, Issue 1, 2013., 2013
The clinical benefits of the Fontan operation in treating single‐ventricle defects have been well documented. However, perioperative mortality or morbidity remains a critical problem. The purpose of the present study was to identify the cardiovascular factors that dominate the transient hemodynamic changes upon the change of a bidirectional ...
