Bactericidal effect of Er,Cr:YSGG laser on Streptococcus mutans.

open access: yesDental materials journal, 2006
The aim of this study was to compare the antibacterial activities of Er,Cr:YSGG laser with two different power outputs against a chlorhexidine gluconate-based cavity disinfectant. A cavity tooth model test was used to determine the antibacterial activity.

Adhesion in dentin prepared with Er,Cr:YSGG laser: Systematic review

open access: yesContemporary Clinical Dentistry, 2019
In dentistry, cavities prepared with Erbium lasers present more advantages, compared to traditional methods, but there is still a lack of investigation about the adhesion in dentin surfaces prepared with Erbium lasers, especially with Erbium, chromium:yttrium-scandium-gallium-garnet (Er,Cr:YSGG) laser. The purpose of this systematic review was to find ...

Root surface biomodification in periodontal therapy: Biological rationale and clinical applications

open access: yesPeriodontology 2000, EarlyView.
Abstract Regenerative periodontal therapy aims to form new cementum, periodontal ligament, and alveolar bone, all sealed by gingival tissue. The root surface acts as the wound margin during this regeneration process. Root surface biomodification (root conditioning/root decontamination), therefore, seems instrumental in promoting surface decontamination

Clinical applcation of water laser (Er,Cr:YSGG)

open access: yesThe Journal of The Korean Dental Association, 2018
Laser means "Light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation". Laser have unique characteristics according to wavelength. Wavelenth of Waterlase is 2780nm and it can be absorbed to water and hydroxyapatite. When laser is applied to some material, its temperature goes up due to laser's energy. But in dental treatment high temperature is not good

Favorable Eruption Despite External Replacement Root Resorption in Delayed Replantation of Avulsed Teeth Treated With Regenerative Endodontics—An Observational Study

open access: yesDental Traumatology, Volume 42, Issue 2, Page 160-175, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim To assess the eruption patterns and progression of external replacement root resorption of eight teeth that were avulsed and had delayed replantation treated by regenerative endodontic treatment (RET). Methodology In total, 102 traumatised anterior teeth were treated with regenerative endodontic treatment (RET) between December 2016 and ...

Impact of Phosphoric Acid Etching Duration on the Bonding Performance of Universal Adhesives on Enamel: A Systematic Review of Laboratory Studies

open access: yesJournal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry, Volume 38, Issue 4, Page 780-791, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective The optimal duration of phosphoric acid etching (PAE) for enamel bonding remains uncertain, particularly in the context of universal adhesives. The aim of this systematic review was to determine whether shortened etching times (< 15 s) provide comparable bond strength to conventional protocols.

Treatment of Pyogenic Granuloma using Er,Cr:YSGG Laser

open access: yesInternational Journal of Laser Dentistry, 2013
Pyogenic granuloma (PG) is a common, usually solitary, benign sessile or pedunculated vascular proliferation of the skin and mucous membranes, presenting as hemorrhagic growth, especially in children and women of reproductive age. The lesion is unrelated to infection and arises in response to various stimuli, such as low grade local irritation ...
