Modeling the impacts of grazing management on livestock behavior and performance: A case study in the Peruvian Andes

Grassland Research, EarlyView.
Our modeling study shows that livestock management strongly influences grazing behavior and animal performance in the Peruvian Andes. Furthermore, adjusting stocking rates and improving animal distribution can enhance forage intake and body condition while increasing forage biomass.

Overview of the antileukemic effects of Piper nigrum extract in AML. P. nigrum reduced leukemic cell proliferation and glycolytic metabolism through modulation of the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway. In vivo, treatment reduced leukemic burden, improved hematological parameters, prolonged survival, and modulated antitumor immune responses.

Abstract To persuade creditors to lend, cities in the Low Countries relied on a community responsibility system that made all citizens personally liable for public debt. ABSTRACT The use of alternative food has become an integral component of biocontrol, allowing the introduction and establishment of predators into a crop before pest invasion and sustaining populations even when pest densities are low.
