CR singular images of generic submanifolds under holomorphic maps

open access: yes, 2012
The purpose of this paper is to organize some results on the local geometry of CR singular real-analytic manifolds that are images of CR manifolds via a CR map that is a diffeomorphism onto its image.

Boundary spike‐layer solutions of the multi‐dimensional singular Keller–Segel system: Existence, profiles and stability

open access: yesProceedings of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 132, Issue 2, February 2026.
Abstract This paper investigates boundary‐layer solutions of the singular Keller–Segel system (proposed in Keller and Segel [J. Theor. Biol. 30 (1971), 377–380]) in multi‐dimensional domains, which describes cells' chemotactic movement toward the concentration gradient of the nutrient they consume, subject to a zero‐flux boundary condition for the cell

Space time manifolds and contact structures

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1990
A new class of contact manifolds (carring a global non-vanishing timelike vector field) is introduced to establish a relation between spacetime manifolds and contact structures.

Geometry of invariant domains in complex semi-simple Lie groups [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
We investigate the joint action of two real forms of a semi-simple complex Lie group S by left and right multiplication. After analyzing the orbit structure, we study the CR structure of closed orbits. The main results are an explicit formula of the Levi

The GJMS operators in geometry, analysis and physics

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 113, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract The GJMS operators, introduced by Graham, Jenne, Mason and Sparling, are a family of conformally invariant linear differential operators with leading term a power of the Laplacian. These operators and their method of construction have had a major impact in geometry, analysis and physics.

Hausdorff dimension of unions of k$k$‐planes

open access: yesMathematika, Volume 72, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract We prove a conjecture of R. Oberlin and Héra on the dimension of unions of k$k$‐planes. Let 0

Floer theory for the variation operator of an isolated singularity

open access: yesJournal of Topology, Volume 18, Issue 4, December 2025.
Abstract The variation operator in singularity theory maps relative homology cycles to compact cycles in the Milnor fiber using the monodromy. We construct its symplectic analog for an isolated singularity. We define the monodromy Lagrangian Floer cohomology, which provides categorifications of the standard theorems on the variation operator and the ...

CR-hypersurfaces of complex projective space

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 1994
We consider compact n-dimensional minimal foliate CR-real submanifolds of a complex projective space. We show that these submanifolds are great circles on a 2-dimensional sphere provided that the square of the length of the second fundamental form is ...

Contact CR $ \delta $-invariant: an optimal estimate for Sasakian statistical manifolds

open access: yesAIMS Mathematics
Chen (1993) developed the theory of $ \delta $-invariants to establish novel necessary conditions for a Riemannian manifold to allow a minimal isometric immersion into Euclidean space. Later, Siddiqui et al.

Global eigenfamilies on closed manifolds

open access: yesJournal of the London Mathematical Society, Volume 112, Issue 2, August 2025.
Abstract We study globally defined (λ,μ)$(\lambda,\mu)$‐eigenfamilies on closed Riemannian manifolds. Among others, we provide (non‐)existence results for such eigenfamilies, examine topological consequences of the existence of eigenfamilies and classify (λ,μ)$(\lambda,\mu)$‐eigenfamilies on flat tori. It is further shown that for f=f1+if2$f=f_1+i f_2$
