Mass resolution for iron isotopes in the plastic CR-39

Nuclear Tracks and Radiation Measurements (1982), 1982
Abstract In order to investigate its mass resolution, a stack of sheets of the plastic CR-39 was exposed to a beam of 600 MeV n 56 Fe ions. From this exposure, a total of 74 iron events were analyzed. The mass resolution for 56 Fe was obtained as 0.34 ± 0.14 amu.

Experimental Evidence for Quartet Structure in Cr and Ti Isotopes

Physical Review C, 1971
The ($^{16}\mathrm{O}$, $^{12}\mathrm{C}$) $\ensuremath{\alpha}$-transfer reaction has been studied on several Ca and Ti target isotopes using the 40- and 48-MeV $^{16}\mathrm{O}$ beams of the Saclay FN tandem Van de Graaff. This work is the natural extension of the previous one performed on various Fe and Ni target isotopes. As previously observed for

The Isotope Geochemistry of Zn and Cr in Ureilites

2008
We measured the Cr and Zn stable isotope compositions of nine ureilite samples. Both Cr and Zn isotopic ratios are negatively correlated with their respective concentrations. These results may reflect isotopic fractionations during volatile loss.

Isotopes in comets: Implications from Cr in carbonaceous chondrites

Space Science Reviews, 1991
According to their chemical composition, rich in volatile compounds, comets are thought to be primitive materials. They may provide prime samples for the study of nucleosynthetic components of the solar system and of the processes occurring during the formation of the outer planets. Their origin is largely a matter of conjecture.
