ABSTRACT This article investigates the Soret–Dufour cross‐diffusion effects on radiation‐absorptive unsteady free‐convection of magnetized nanofluids ( TiO2–water and Cu–water) flow over a vertical moving permeable plate. The model integrates thermal source, chemical reactions, porous resistance, and thermal radiation. The water‐based nanofluids mixing

Metalens‐Enabled Double‐Helix Point Spread Function for Multifunctional Imaging
A single metalens is employed to generate a double‐helix point spread function (DH‐PSF). At the design wavelength, the PSF rotation angle varies linearly with depth, while the lobe spacing follows an inverse dependence on axial position. At a fixed depth, the lobe spacing further exhibits a linear dependence on wavelength due to dispersion.

Based on measurements of angle of arrival and time difference of arrival, a method is proposed to improve the accuracy of localization with imperfect sensors. A derivation of the Cramér–Rao lower bound and the root mean square error is presented aimed at

Joint frequency offset, time offset, and channel estimation for OFDM/OQAM systems
Among the multicarrier modulation techniques considered as an alternative to orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) for future wireless networks, a derivative of OFDM based on offset quadrature amplitude modulation (OFDM/OQAM) has received ...

Because the evaluation of the location performance of AUVs with the lower bound of the Cramer-Rao inequality is not intuitive, the geometric interpretation method is proposed based on geometric ellipse.

Valid lower bound for all estimators in quantum parameter estimation
The widely used quantum Cramér–Rao bound (QCRB) sets a lower bound for the mean square error of unbiased estimators in quantum parameter estimation, however, in general QCRB is only tight in the asymptotical limit.

Cramér-Rao Bound Study of Multiple Scattering Effects in Target Localization
The target position information contained in scattering data is explored in the context of the scalar Helmholtz operator for the basic two-point scatterer system by means of the statistical estimation framework of the Fisher information and associated ...

On stability of generalized phase retrieval and generalized affine phase retrieval
In this paper, we consider the stability of intensity measurement mappings corresponding to generalized phase retrieval and generalized affine phase retrieval in the real case. First, we show the bi-Lipschitz property on measurements of noiseless signals.

Cramer-Rao Bounds and Coherence Performance Analysis for Next Generation Radar with Pulse Trains
We study the Cramer-Rao bounds of parameter estimation and coherence performance for the next generation radar (NGR). In order to enhance the performance of NGR, the signal model of NGR with master-slave architecture based on a single pulse is extended ...
