Neonicotinoid seed treatments do not consistently reduce insect feeding damage nor increase yields in Maryland soy

We compared soybean plants from untreated and treated seeds across 4 sites and 3 years in Maryland. Neonicotinoid seed treatments (NST) provided little reduction in insect stippling damage and no reduction in chewing damage. NST did not result in increased plant biomass or bean yield.
