We report a case of cranial fasciitis in a 14-month-old boy. The lesion grew at the site of a previous head trauma, rapidly destroying the skull. Surgery disclosed that the lesion was highly vascular and adhered to the dura. Because histopathological study of a frozen section did not show malignancy, the authors decided not to perform dural excision ...

Percussion of the skull dates from a time when there were virtually no radiological methods for examining the skull and brain. Three apparently independent contributions appeared within the years 1893-1895. The sound elicited, tenderness, and auscultatory percussion have each been employed for diagnostic purposes, but have long been superseded.

Copine‐4 Paraneoplastic Autoimmune Encephalitis
ABSTRACT We characterize copine‐4 (CPNE4)‐IgG and report clinical associations. Among 844 samples with unclassified neural IgGs identified by mouse‐brain indirect immunofluorescence assay over 2 years, 5 samples (serum, 3; CSF, 2) from 3 patients produced a distinctive cerebrum‐restricted synaptic pattern.
