Craniofacial surgery simulation
1996Craniofacial surgery requires careful preoperative planning in order to restore functionality and to improve the patient's aesthetics. In this article we present two different tissue models, integrated in an interactive surgical simulation system, which allow the preoperative visualization of the patient's postoperative appearance.

Complications in craniofacial surgery
British Journal of Plastic Surgery, 1988200 consecutive patients undergoing craniofacial operations have been reviewed and the complications and problems encountered are reported. The complications were all among patients undergoing surgery in which intracranial exposure was used and the incidence was notably higher in some particular patient groups.
