Altered functional interactions between CFTR disease mutants ΔF508 and G551D and the protein kinase A catalytic subunit

open access: yesThe Journal of Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract figure legend Pathogenic mutations ΔF508 and G551D of the cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) channel alter its interactions with protein kinase A (PKA). Top left, for both mutants, but not for wild‐type (WT) CFTR, non‐catalytic stimulation of channel activity by PKA is larger in the presence of N6‐(2‐phenylethyl)‐ATP (P‐

Tracking Aspirations: Neoliberal Education and Mobility for Cambodian Youth

open access: yesAnthropology &Education Quarterly, Volume 57, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork in rural Cambodia, this article focuses on secondary students who aspire to social and spatial mobility. It examines how a subject‐based tracking system intersects with other facets of the educational landscape to stratify students along class lines.

Nanostructured Carbon‐Enhanced Positive Active Mass for Absorbent Glass Mat 2 V Lead Acid Batteries: Toward Improved Active Material Utilization, Extended Cyclability, and Reduced Water Loss

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 8, 15 April 2026.
This article investigates the effects of three commercial carbon compounds—graphite, carbon black (CB), and carbon nanotubes (d‐CNT)—on positive active material (PAM) utilization, cycling performance, and water consumption (WC) in 2 V absorbent glass mat lead–acid batteries (LABs).

Self‐Regulating Sodium‐Ion Battery Materials: From Phase Reconstruction to Functional Activation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 19, 1 April 2026.
Self‐regulating sodium‐ion batteries hinge on programmable phase behavior in layered oxides, interphases that renew without growth, and electrolytes that steer solvation and chemistry. This review distills mechanisms into design rules that span composition, site and entropy tuning, and self‐buffering anodes, linking operando evidence to choices and ...

A Laminating Strategy to Manyfold Enhance the Elastic Stretchability of Stretchable Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 19, 2 April 2026.
We propose a laminating strategy that laminates a thick‐polymer layer onto the thin‐ribbon metallic structure. Using serpentine structures on soft and hard substrates as representative cases, this approach increases elastic stretchability by 3.5‐fold and 2.3‐fold.
