Abstract The design of experiments to investigate the combined effects of multiple stressors requires exposing target organisms to multiple combinations of stressor doses. Concurrent manipulation of stressors is often infeasible with wildlife, but long‐lasting health effects allow individual health to be used as an integrator of prior stressor exposure.

ABSTRACT Background Although ageing is universal, spinal cord injury (SCI) intensifies age‐related physical, psychosocial, cognitive, and functional challenges, with greater consequences for independence and quality of life. Improved life expectancy exposes limitations in prevailing ‘ageing well’ frameworks that exclude disability.

Abstract Introduction Over half of dryland ecosystems worldwide are degraded, making restoration a priority. Most dryland restoration efforts use seed‐based approaches, which often result in limited establishment of desirable species. The dual challenges of abiotic stressors and invasive species dominance are key barriers to native plant community ...

ABSTRACT Children's exposure to mental state language (MSL) has implications for their social, emotional and cognitive developmental outcomes. Although parental MSL is found to vary as a function of child gender, gender differences in children's MSL exposure are yet to be considered in the early childhood education and care (ECEC) context.

Water‐Mediated Phosphoryl Wires Stabilize Pathological Tau Fibrils
Extended 1D phosphoryl “wires” stabilize in‐register amyloid tau fibrils, as demonstrated by multiple‐quantum spin‐counting NMR, TEM, and MD simulations, using fibrils of tau peptide jR2R3‐P301L (tau295–313) with phosphorylation at S305 or Y310. ABSTRACT Hyperphosphorylation of tau is a hallmark of tauopathies, with specific phosphorylation sites ...

Hydrocarbon α,ω‐dienes are mainly produced from steam‐cracking derivatives, but high costs, complexity, and environmental impact limit their use. This review highlights sustainable paths from biomass and plastic upcycling, and surveys catalytic transformations into carbocycles and specialty polymers, emphasizing their role as modular building blocks ...

A Chiral Saddle‐Shaped Nanographene With Two Heptagon‐Embedded [4]Helicenes
We present a novel synthetic strategy toward a chiral saddle‐shaped nanographene (cSNG) via a two‐step oxidation of a prochiral anthracene precursor. The Scholl‐type oxidation first yields a key intermediate with sp3‐defect heptagons, and subsequent oxidative dehydrogenation affords fully conjugated cSNG.

A novel noncontact method based on weak value amplification enables high‐sensitivity stress mapping of femtosecond laser processed silicon photonic chip substrates. It converts microscale stress into the birefringent phase via the photoelastic effect and reads it out with weak measurement, achieving a 0.37‐kPa detection limit.
