An annotated checklist and distribution of earthworms from Venezuela (Megadrili: Crassiclitellata)
Zootaxa, 2023An earthworm checklist has produced 78 nominal taxa (species/subspecies) of earthworm reported to date in Venezuela. The list of nominal taxa was obtained through literature review and the distribution maps were plotted by ecoregion. The 78 species/subspecies are divided into 24 genera and 6 families.

New Ocnerodrilidae genera, species and records from Brazil (Annelida: Crassiclitellata)
Zootaxa, 2023We describe three new species of Eukerria, six of Kerriona, one of Ocnerodrilus and two of Belladrilus (Clitellata: Ocnerodrilidae) from Brazil, mostly from wet habitats including bromeliad leaf axils, plus some from forest soils in Bahia state. We also provide new morphological and distribution data on Kerriona luederwaldti Michaelsen, 1924.

On the valid name of Savigny’s „earthworm” Enterion terrestre (Crassiclitellata, Lumbricidae)
ZootaxaThere are several long-standing nomenclatural problems within the family Lumbricidae (Bouché 1976, Sims 1983). Some have been successfully resolved recently (e.g. Nicolson & Csuzdi 2018; Popović et al. 2025) but there are a few that still need to be addressed and the name Enterion terrestre Savigny, 1826 is one of them.

The molecular phylogenetic analysis of the D. alpina species group and related taxa revealed that this group in the present form is polyphyletic. The dark-red pigmented D. alpina alpina (Rosa, 1884) specimens from the Alps form a distinct clade together with D. alpina alteclitellata (Pop, 1938) and D. clujensis Pop, 1938 (Central European clade).
