Constraints on the thermal evolution of Venus inferred from Magellan data [PDF]
The impact craters with diameters from 1.5 to 280 km compiled from Magellan observations indicate that the crater population on Venus has a completely spatially random distribution and the size/density distribution of craters with diameters greater than ...

This graphical abstract illustrates the role of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) across the pathogenesis, diagnosis, and therapeutics of periodontal and peri‐implant diseases. Microbial and host stimuli trigger MMP activation leading to extracellular matrix breakdown, point‐of‐care aMMP‐8 detection aids diagnosis, and adjunctive or AI‐assisted ...

Hidden lineages in the African Sky Islands: A taxonomic reevaluation of Afrocarduus (Compositae)
Species delimitation is crucial for biodiversity studies. Using Hyb‐Seq and phylogenomics, we reassessed Afrocarduus, endemic to Afromontane and Afroalpine regions, uncovering 16 evolutionary lineages (2.3 Mya). Morphological data support their distinctiveness, with acaulescence evolving independently twice. The traditionally broad A.

The Effect of Antecedent Topography on Complex Crater Formation
Impact craters that form on every planetary body provide a record of planetary surface evolution. On heavily cratered surfaces, new craters that form often overlap antecedent craters, but it is unknown how the presence of antecedent craters alters impact

Non-random cratering flux in recent time [PDF]
Proposed periodic cycles of mass mortality have been linked to periodic changes in the impact flux on Earth. Such changes in the impact flux, however, also should be recorded on the Moon.

Noble gases and nitrogen in material from asteroid Bennu
Abstract We report the elemental and isotopic abundances of all stable noble gases (helium, neon, argon, krypton, and xenon) in eight particles from asteroid Bennu returned by NASA's OSIRIS‐REx mission. We also report nitrogen abundances and isotopic ratios that were analyzed alongside neon and argon in four additional Bennu particles.
