Lifting capacity enhancement of a crawler crane by improving stability

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, 2016
The lifting capacity of a crawler crane is limited by its stability and structural strength. This paper analyzes the stability factor by calculating tipping loads at various load radii for a particular boom length. It shows that the tipping load decreases with an increase in the load radius.

The Secondary Lifting Performance of Crawler Crane Under Delay Coefficient Control Strategy

open access: yesMachines
Crawler cranes are mobile lifting equipment used in the process of hoisting goods. After the initial lifting, the crane may need a secondary lift due to adjustments in the position or height of the load.

Analisis Damage Stability Accomodation Barge Pada Saat Operasi Crawler Crane

open access: yesJurnal Teknik ITS, 2012

open access: yesJurnal Teknik ITS, 2012

Riparian Bryophytes: An Overlooked Yet Important Habitat for Aquatic Macroinvertebrates in Interior Pacific Northwest (USA) Salmonid-Bearing Streams. [PDF]

open access: yesEcol Evol
We investigated riparian bryophytes as habitat for aquatic invertebrates in an interior Pacific Northwest (PNW) salmonid stream system. Our results demonstrate that bryophytes are highly productive habitat for aquatic invertebrates in interior Pacific Northwest salmonid streams.

The study of the deviations of the payload moved along the curved trajectory by the crawler crane

open access: yesJournal of Physics: Conference Series, 2021
Abstract Reducing the uncontrolled deviations of the payload moved by a crawler crane with a constant boom length is a relevant objective, since it improves the operational efficiency and safety, as well as the positional accuracy of the payload at the target point.

A collaborative simulation in shipbuilding and the offshore installation based on the integration of the dynamic analysis, virtual reality, and control devices

open access: yesInternational Journal of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, 2019
It is difficult to observe the potential risks of lifting or turn-over operations in the early stages before a real operation. Therefore, many dynamic simulations have been designed to predict the risks and to reduce the possibility of accidents.

Radius survey of crawler crane base on total station

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2020
Abstract The process of surveying crane parameters has been continually refined due to the competitive situation, modern surveying instruments and more powerful softwares. As the radius is the crucial parameter to determine the jib crane’s safety, a survey scheme is put forward to solve the problem that the rotary axis can’t be ...

Stability assessment of homogeneous slopes loaded with mobile tracked cranes—An artificial neural network approach

open access: yesCogent Engineering, 2017
Construction projects often involve the use of mobile crawler cranes to excavate, backfill, dredge or move material and equipment on or near slopes. Crane manufacturers often only provide guidelines for the safe operation of cranes with respect to over ...
