In the satellite networks (SATNETs), the random access (RA) schemes are studied to transmit the bursty traffic because the dedicated access (DA) schemes are inefficient to transmit bursty traffic due to overhead caused by control message. The slotted ALOHA (SA), used in the SATNETs, has low throughput owing to the collision between packets.

Generalized Encoding CRDSA: Maximizing Throughput in Enhanced Random Access Schemes for Satellite
This work starts from the analysis of the literature about the Random Access protocols with contention resolution as Contention Resolution Diversity Slotted Aloha (CRDSA) and introduces a possible enhancement, named Gener- alized Contention Resolution Diversity Slotted Aloha (GE-CRDSA).

NOMA-Based CRDSA with Access Control for Next-Generation IoT Networks
This paper proposes access control (AC) scheme for non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA)-based contention resolution diversity slotted ALOHA (CRDSA-NOMA) to improve the performance of CRDSA-NOMA at high traffic loads, referred to as AC-CRDSA-NOMA.

Toward the Random Multiaccess in SIoT: A Generalized-Deduplication-Based CRDSA Mechanism
In the Satellite-Integrated Internet of Things (SIoT), typical multiaccess schemes, i.e., contention resolution diversity slotted ALOHA scheme (CRDSA), face with the obvious challenge of heavily conflicting packets regarding high channel traffic, which ...
