Analysis of Creep Feed Efficiency by a Linear Model on Grazing Japanese Black Cattle Calves

In recent decades, solid waste has proliferated worldwide, becoming a pressing global issue. This article explores the role of Indigenous people dwelling within and upon emerging waste scenarios, with a specific focus on involved forms of sociality and ontological contestation. Drawing on the case of a municipal landfill sited on a Guarani community in

Climate change and anthropogenic activities drive antagonistic degradation of landscape connectivity for endangered François’ langur (1987–2024), causing 48.8% habitat loss, north‐south fragmentation, and centroid migration (1.2 km/yr). Despite protected areas buffering connectivity, static management fails dynamic priority habitats; we propose ...

This study identified a specific sequence of an extended drought followed by exceptional rainfall as a necessary precursor for mouse plagues in southeastern Australia. Long‐term rainfall anomalies interact with ecological processes to reset population dynamics, creating conditions that support rapid mouse population growth following periods of ...

Basalt‐dwelling blind mole rats maintain lower body temperatures, show greater post‐digging thermal increases, and dig more efficiently than those from rendzina soils. Although metabolic rates and bite force did not differ between populations, these thermal and physiological shifts align with the greater mechanical resistance and seasonal hypoxia of ...

Supplementing beef cattle diets with brown seaweed affects coprophagous beetles' dung use
Supplementing beef cattle diets with brown seaweed reduced the attractiveness of dung for a common dung beetle (Onthophagus nuchicornis). Dietary supplementation with brown seaweed appeared to reduce the proportion of major males in the F1 generation.

ABSTRACT In most sheep production systems, the ideal scenario is for every ewe to lamb and successfully raise twins. However, selection for increased number of lambs born (NLB) is often accompanied by a higher incidence of triplet and higher‐order births, which increases management challenges and producer reluctance to intensify selection for this ...
