EFFECT OF BORON ON CREEP DUCTILITY AND CREEP RUPTURE LIFE IN 9CR-1.5MO STEEL
In this study, the relationship between the creep ductility and rupture life of 9 Cr -1.5 Mo steel with boron addition at 600°C was investigated by small punch (SP) creep test from the viewpoint of the modified Monkman-Grant relation. The amount of boron addition ranged from 0.0076wt% to 0.0196 wt%.

Fitting Creep-Rupture Life Distribution Using Accelerated Life Testing Data
This paper comments on using the Larson-Miller parameter to fit the creep-rupture life distribution as a function of temperature and stress. The commonly used least-squares linear regression method assumes that the creep-rupture life follows the lognormal distribution. Most engineering literature does not discuss the validity of this assumption.

Creep rupture is becoming increasingly one of the most important problems affecting behavior and performance of power production systems operating in high temperature environments and potentially under irradiation as is the case of nuclear reactors. Creep rupture forecasting and estimation of the useful life is required to avoid unanticipated component

Predicting the creep rupture life of polyethylene pipe
Polymer Engineering & Science, 1979AbstractA number of techniques have been developed in the past for the prediction of the dependence of the creep rupture life of polyethylene pipe on applied stress and temperature. It is now proposed that, using a modified form of the activated rate procss equation in which the activation volume varies predictably with temperature, a generalized ...
