Singlet Dark Matter in Type II Two Higgs Doublet Model
Inspired by the dark matter searches in the low mass region, we study the Type II two Higgs doublet model with a light gauge singlet WIMP stabilized by a Z_2 symmetry. The real singlet is required to only couple to the non-Standard Model Higgs.

The kinetic dark-mixing in the light of CoGENT and XENON100
Several string or GUT constructions motivate the existence of a dark U(1)_D gauge boson which interacts with the Standard Model only through its kinetic mixing. We compute the dark matter abundance in such scenario and the constraints in the light of the

Exploration of the Outer Envelope of the K-giant Star Beta Cet
Investigating the atmospheres of giants and supergiants is critical to expanding our knowledge of stellar life cycles, galaxy formation, and the origin of material that forms exoplanets.

Searching for dark matter with CRESST
The CRESST II experiment is a dark matter search using cryogenic phonon-scintillation detectors, aiming to detect WIMP dark matter particle interactions. The detector consists of individual, modular and scintillating (CaWO4 or ZnWO4) target crystals, each equipped with a phonon sensor for precise determination of the energy deposited in the crystals ...
