In Situ Contact Angle Measurement for Autonomous Spin Coating in Self‐Driving Labs

A vision‐based add‐on transforms commercial spin coaters into autonomous modules of Self‐Driving Labs. Combining a width‐scaled U‐Net with classical geometric analysis, the system simultaneously measures contact angles and estimates substrate pose using a single camera.

Firm turnover under asymmetric information: Tanzania's agro‐dealer sector

Abstract We study firm turnover (i.e., entry and exit) and its consumer implications in a market characterized by asymmetric information. Using a three‐round census of agro‐dealers in Tanzania's Morogoro Region, we document annual firm entry and exit rates of 33% and 17%, respectively.

Redox‐Modulated σ‐Bond Reactivity in a Radical‐Anion Dimer

A radialene‐based radical anion σ‐dimer comprising an elongated C‐C bond exhibits orthogonal stimuli responsiveness. Homolytic cleavage of the dimer to the radical state is triggered by mechanical strain and high temperature. Dimer scission is also achieved via oxidation, resulting in formation of neutral radialenes.
