Background Individuals with serum elevations of anti‐cyclic citrullinated peptide (anti‐CCP) antibodies are at increased risk for future rheumatoid arthritis (RA). No pharmacologic interventions have been approved for the prevention of RA in such ‘at‐risk’ individuals. However, hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is used without supporting clinical trial evidence.

Population pharmacokinetics of levofloxacin in breastmilk in patients with rifampicin‐resistant tuberculosis

Levofloxacin is a widely used antibiotic included in rifampicin‐resistant tuberculosis (RR‐TB) treatment. Data describing levofloxacin concentrations in breastmilk and infant exposure are limited. We analysed data from two South African studies of breastfeeding women receiving levofloxacin (750–1000 mg daily) for RR‐TB.

Psilocybin Production With Genetically Modified Aspergillus nidulans Under Pressurized Conditions

Shake flask cultures of psilocybin‐producing A. nidulans were investigated with respect to nitrogen source, rheology, power input, and oxygen availability, and subsequently scaled to a stirred tank reactor scale based on specific power input to develop and optimize a pressurized bioprocess.
