Critical convective-type equations on a half-line [PDF]
We are interested in the global existence and large-time behavior of solutions to the initial-boundary value problem for critical convective-type dissipative equations ut+ℕ(u,ux)+(an∂xn+am∂xm)u=0, (x,t)∈ℝ+×ℝ+, u(x,0)=u0(x), x∈ℝ+, ∂xj−1u(0,t)=0 for j=1,…

Classifying Potts critical lines [PDF]
We use scale invariant scattering theory to exactly determine the lines of renormalization group fixed points invariant under the permutational symmetry $S_q$ in two dimensions, and show how one of these scattering solutions describes the ferromagnetic and square lattice antiferromagnetic critical lines of the $q$-state Potts model.

Modern power utilization has been forced to operate close to their stability limits, which may lead to voltage instability or collapse owing to the stressed operating conditions of networks.

Applying Markowitz's Critical Line Algorithm [PDF]
We provide a Matlab quadratic optimization tool based on Markowitz’s citical line algorithm that significantly outperforms standard software packages and a recently developed operations research algorithm. As an illustration: For a 2000 asset universe our method needs less than a second to compute the whole frontier whereas the quickest competitor ...

Critical Dynamics of Contact Line Depinning [PDF]
ABSTRACTThe depinning of a contact line is studied as a dynamical critical phenomenon by a functional renormalization group technique. In D = 2 - ∈ “line” dimensions, the roughness exponent is ζ = ∈/3 to all orders in perturbation theory. Thus, ζ = 1/3 for the contact line, equal to the Imry-Ma estimate for equilibrium roughness. The dynamical exponent

Strategies for the Management of Spike Protein-Related Pathology
In the wake of the COVID-19 crisis, a need has arisen to prevent and treat two related conditions, COVID-19 vaccine injury and long COVID-19, both of which can trace at least part of their aetiology to the spike protein, which can cause harm through ...

SNAKE LINE ANALYSIS FOR LAHAR FLOW WARNING SYSTEM (CASE STUDY IN PUTIH RIVER, MOUNT MERAPI)
Lahar flow in the region of Mount Merapi after an eruption of 2010 is still considered potentially to happen and threat the region along the river from the upstream.
