Cetyltrimethylammonium Bromide (CTAB), Additives and Their Mixtures: The Experimental and Modeling Study [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2022
In the present investigation, firstly, the surface tension measurements were conducted for aqueous solutions of cetyltrimethylammonium bromide, acetonitrile, and tetrahydrofuran by using a pendant drop apparatus at the temperature of 298.15 K and ambient

Salinity Effect on the Surfactant Critical Micelle Concentration through Surface Tension Measurement [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Oil & Gas Science and Technology, 2019
One of the tertiary methods for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) is the injection of chemicals into oil reservoirs, and surface active agents (surfactants) are among the most used chemicals.

Hysteresis of conductivity in a micellar surfactant solution near the Krafft point [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Serbian Chemical Society, 2020
The specific conductivity of aqueous cetyltrimethylammonium bromide solutions has been investigated below and above the critical micelle concentration, in order to elucidate slow structural changes.

Investigation on solution properties of surfactants in mixed solvent media: Landmark towards Surface Chemistry in Eastern Nepal

open access: yesBibechana, 2014
Surfactants are amphiphilic molecules having a hydrophilic or water soluble moiety (head group) and a hydrophobic, or water insoluble moiety (tail group).

Interfacial Modulation for High‐Efficiency Large‐Area Organic Photovoltaics and Perovskite‐Organic Tandem Solar Modules

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Self‐assembled monolayers (SAMs) are promising hole‐transporting materials for organic photovoltaics (OPVs), but suffer from self‐aggregation and poor large‐area uniformity. We find that interfacial modification using nicotinic hydrazide can eliminate the residual SAM aggregates by forming energetically favorable complexes, yielding uniform SAM.

Designing the structure of cationic star-shaped trimeric surfactants most active in micelle formation using molecular connectivity indices

open access: yesScientific Reports
A model expressing the relationship between the logarithm of critical micelle concentration of cationic star-shaped trimeric surfactants and topological indices was obtained using only molecular connectivity indices.

Preparation and Characterization of Olmesartan Medoxomil-Loaded Polymeric Mixed Micelle Nanocarrier

open access: yesIraqi Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences
Olmesartan medoxomil (OLM) is a selective angiotensin II antagonist that effectively lowers blood pressure. It has a poor rate of absorption when taken orally, a maximum bioavailability of about 26%, and limited solubility in water.

On the morphology and corrosion behavior of Ni nanostructures electrodeposited in the presence of different surfactants [PDF]

open access: yesشیمی کاربردی روز, 2018
In this work, Ni nano structures with different surface morphology have been electrodeposited from the Waths bath using direct current (DC) and pulsed reverse current (PRC) techniques in the presence of three types of surfactants. CTAB, SDS, and Triton x-
