Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

Partition function zeros of the Q-state Potts model on the simple-cubic lattice
The $Q$-state Potts model on the simple-cubic lattice is studied using the zeros of the exact partition function on a finite lattice. The critical behavior of the model in the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases is discussed based on the ...

Critical size of crystals in the plane
Summary: We study a modified Stefan problem (and its quasi-steady approximation) for crystalline motion in the plane. We are interested in the behaviour of the solution to a symmetric problem, in particular we assume that the Wulff shape \(W\) is a regular polygon with \(N\) sides. We describe two situations.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary dysfunction and sleep abnormalities are common in children with sickle cell disease (SCD) and are associated with worse clinical outcomes. Whether spirometry abnormalities are associated with polysomnography (PSG) findings remains unclear.

In engineering practice, due to various functional requirements, structures with geometric discontinuities occur widely; in addition, most structures undergo complex multiaxial loads, which drives the development of relevant theories.

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...

One-dimensional pinning behavior in Co-doped BaFe2As2 thin films
Angle-resolved transport measurements revealed that planar defects dominate flux pinning in the investigated Co-doped BaFe2As2 thin film. For any given field and temperature, the critical current depends only on the angle between the crystallographic c ...
