Dual Roles of Deep Eutectic Solvent in Polysulfide Redox and Catalysis for Intermediate‐Temperature Potassium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐functional NiS‐DES interfacial strategy enables highly reversible K2S2/K2S conversion in intermediate‐temperature K‐S batteries by balancing adsorption and activation of intermediates at the catalytic interface, achieving high capacity, long cycle life, and low‐cost energy storage. Abstract Potassium–sulfur (K‐S) batteries hold great promise for

Stimuli‐Responsive Materials for Biomedical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Stimulus‐responsive materials (SRMs) hold great promise for use in a wide range of biomedical applications. This review covers four stimulus modalities, namely, electrical, optical, magnetic, and ultrasound, and their associated SRMs. It provides a summary of the materials in each modality, their development, and current research perspectives.

Prelithiation of Alloy Anodes via Roll Pressing for Solid‐State Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A general prelithiation method is developed for alloy‐type negative electrodes via solid‐state lithiation using roll‐pressing with thin lithium foil. This mechanical prelithiation method is compatible with roll‐to‐roll processing and allows for a controlled extent of prelithiation.
