Multi-Core Time-Triggered OCBP-Based Scheduling for Mixed Criticality Periodic Task Systems

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Mixed criticality systems are one of the relatively new directions of development for the classical real-time systems. As the real-time embedded systems become more and more complex, incorporating different tasks with different criticality levels, the ...

Possibilities of realization of the failure analysis method for machines

open access: yesVojnotehnički Glasnik, 2001
In this paper, on the basis of the known methods of failure analysis developed primarily for electronic devices FMEA and FMECA, the possibility of their application on a complex machine conditioned the development of an 'adjusted' method of the working ...

Critical analysis of Popper’s experiment [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review A, 2007
An experiment which could decide against the Copenhagen interpretation of quantum mechanics has been proposed by K. Popper and, subsequently, it has been criticized by M.J. Collett and R. Loudon. Here we show that both the above mentioned arguments are not correct because they are based on a misuse of basic quantum rules.

Hospitalization Through Families’ Eyes: Comparing Inpatient Care Quality for Children With Sickle Cell Disease and Cystic Fibrosis in Canada

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

Serological Benefit of SARS‐CoV‐2 Vaccination Relative to Infection in Children With Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.
