Radio Pulse Power Distribution of Lightning in Jupiter's 2021–2022 Stealth Superstorms

open access: yesAGU Advances, Volume 7, Issue 2, April 2026.
Abstract Surveys and observations of lightning on Jupiter prior to the NASA Juno mission used night‐side imaging approaches, and a common conclusion was that the optical energy was similar to the highest energy terrestrial lightning flashes, or superbolts.

Trait‐Based Biomonitoring Using eDNA Metabarcoding to Assess Anthropogenic Disturbances on Freshwater Fish Communities

open access: yesMolecular Ecology Resources, Volume 26, Issue 3, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Various anthropogenic disturbances affect the succession of aquatic habitats along dendritic river networks. Bioindicator taxa, such as fish, can be used to assess the effects of these disturbances on habitat quality. Environmental DNA (eDNA) metabarcoding offers a novel approach to complement traditional sampling and analysis of bioindicator ...

The Preservation of Muscle Mitochondrial Machinery During Hypometabolic Hibernation in Scandinavian Brown Bears (Ursus arctos)

open access: yesActa Physiologica, Volume 242, Issue 4, April 2026.
ABSTRACT Aim Unlike humans, brown bears (Ursus arctos) uniquely preserve skeletal muscle mass and function during months of hibernation despite prolonged fasting and inactivity. We investigated how mitochondrial energetics respond in skeletal muscle to support this remarkable resilience.

Network medicine and systems pharmacology approaches to predicting adverse drug effects

open access: yesBritish Journal of Pharmacology, Volume 183, Issue 8, Page 1627-1639, April 2026.
Identifying and understanding the relationships between drug intake and adverse effects that can occur due to inadvertent molecular interactions between drugs and targets is a difficult task, especially considering the numerous variables that can influence the onset of such events.

Galilée critique d'art

Actes de la recherche en sciences sociales, 1987
Galileo as a Critic of the Arts. Drawing on encyclopaedic knowledge, Panofsky makes connections between the most varied areas of Renaissance culture, based on the homology between Galileo's aesthetic tastes and his scientific dispositions. Both derive from the same «critical purism» which explains both his ignorance of Kepler's discoveries on the ...
