[Calculation of crop evapotranspiration in greenhouse].

Ying yong sheng tai xue bao = The journal of applied ecology, 2007
Based on Penman-Monteith equation, a simplified formula for calculating the crop evapotranspiration in greenhouse was deduced by introducing the parameter of crop canopy height and modifying the item of aerodynamics related to wind velocity. The deductive procedure was analyzed theoretically, and the formula was validated with meteorological data.

Reference Crop Evapotranspiration from Temperature

Applied Engineering in Agriculture, 1985
MEASURED lysimeter evapotranspiration of Alta fescue grass (a cool season grass) is taken as an index of reference crop evapotranspiration (ETo). An equation is presented that estimates ETo from measured values of daily or mean values of maximum and minimum temperature. This equation is compared with various other methods for estimating ETo.

Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficients of Wheat and Sorghum

Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, 2000
Wheat and sorghum are important cereal crops next only to rice in India and several other Asian countries. Improved water management requires accurate scheduling of irrigation, which in turn requires an accurate measurement of daily crop evapotranspiration ETc.

Calculations of evapotranspiration from crop surface temperature

Agricultural Meteorology, 1974
Abstract Two techniques for extrapolating detailed micrometeorological or lysimetrical measurements of evapotranspiration to field other than intensely instrumented experimental sites are presented and discussed. The first approach utilizes net radiation, air temperature, vapor pressure and wind speed data and crop resistance in the calculations ...

Spatial Estimation of Regional Crop Evapotranspiration

Transactions of the ASAE, 1995
Current methods of computing regional crop evapotranspiration (ET), the prime variable in estimating irrigation demand, largely ignore the spatial variability of ET parameters, thus introducing errors. In this research, a method was developed to estimate regional ET while considering the spatial variability of parameters.

Evapotranspiration Crop Coefficients for Cattail and Bulrush

Journal of Hydrologic Engineering, 2004
Accurate estimates of evapotranspiration from constructed wetlands are required to establish design flow estimates and to assess the effectiveness of wetland water quality amelioration. Water consumption by two wetland plant species, Typha latifoilia (broadleaf cattail) and Scoenoplectus acutus (hardstem bulrush), was measured in a greenhouse for eight

Calculation of Evapotranspiration and Crop Water Requirements

2016
Reference ET (ET0) is defined as the ET of short grass with full soil cover, and an unlimited supply of water and nutrients. In the absence of water deficit, the ET of any crop may be calculated as the product Kc x ET0, where Kc is the crop coefficient, which depends on crop related factors (leaf area, roughness) and ET0, the reference ET (grass ...

Accuracy of Estimated Reference Crop Evapotranspiration

Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering, 1989
Evapotranspiration from cool‐season grasses is used as the reference for ET0. The requirements for local calibration for three equations for ET0 recommended by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) are shown for different climatic regions of California.

Review of Turfgrass Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficients

2015 ASABE / IA Irrigation Symposium: Emerging Technologies for Sustainable Irrigation - A Tribute to the Career of Terry Howell, Sr. Conference Proceedings, 2015
Abstract. This review summarizes available data related to turfgrass evapotranspiration (ET c ) and crop coefficients (K c ) for both warm- and cool-season grasses. Daily, monthly or seasonal ET c rates and K c values determined at different locations in the U.S.
