In vitro models of cancer‐associated fibroblast heterogeneity uncover subtype‐specific effects of CRISPR perturbations

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Systematic Identification of Average ASR Successful Telecommunications Conversations Using the Concept of Dynamic Systems [PDF]

open access: yesچشم‌انداز مدیریت صنعتی, 2011
Some industrial, social, and managerial issues have their own intricacies and cannot be solved by simple vision and management hypotheses. Dynamic systems thinking is a way of modeling and analyzing the factors of a system and ultimately finding the ...

Detection of circulating tumor DNA in colorectal cancer patients using a methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We developed a cost‐effective methylation‐specific droplet digital PCR multiplex assay containing tissue‐conserved and tumor‐specific methylation markers. The assay can detect circulating tumor DNA with high accuracy in patients with localized and metastatic colorectal cancer.

Damage Detection of Structures for Ambient Loading Based on Cross Correlation Function Amplitude and SVM

open access: yesShock and Vibration, 2016
An effective method for the damage detection of skeletal structures which combines the cross correlation function amplitude (CCFA) with the support vector machine (SVM) is presented in this paper. The proposed method consists of two stages.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Constructions of Golomb Costas arrays and their applications in OFDM systems

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2013
Theory of structures of Golomb Costas arrays with 1-gap row and 1-gap column was established with the study of the properties and mathematical models of Golomb Costas arrays and their families which are obtained by the cyclic shift method.

A Cross-Correlational Analysis between Electroencephalographic and End-Tidal Carbon Dioxide Signals: Methodological Issues in the Presence of Missing Data and Real Data Results

open access: yesSensors, 2016
Electroencephalographic (EEG) irreducible artifacts are common and the removal of corrupted segments from the analysis may be required. The present study aims at exploring the effects of different EEG Missing Data Segment (MDS) distributions on cross ...
