Resonant Tunneling in Laser‐Dressed Double‐Barrier Nanostructures: Role of Potential Geometry
Advanced Physics Research, EarlyView.A schematic illustration of laser‐dressed double‐barrier nanostructures with rectangular, parabolic, and triangular potential profiles is presented. The intense laser field modifies the effective confinement potential, leading to a shift in resonance energies.

, 2017 This is a response to images from British artist Leah Gordon’s Kanaval series. Gordon’s photographs feature cross-dressed performers in the carnival of Jacmel, a town on the southern coast of Haiti. This short piece imagines some of the narratives behind the images and reveals how these crossings perform and deform colonial history.
