A General High‐Throughput Mucus Microrheology Platform for Quantitative and Scalable Mucus Phenotyping

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐throughput Differential Dynamic Microscopy measures frequency‐resolved mechanical fingerprints from 3 to 10 μL$\umu{\rm L}$ mucus samples using only a few minutes of operator attention per sample. This automated analysis enables scalable mucus phenotyping for translational research by distinguishing mechanical heterogeneity among donors, disease ...

Predicting Enzyme Turnover Numbers and Enabling Rational Enzyme Evolution

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
MCKcat, a deep learning framework combining multi‐scale convolution and cross‐attention, accurately predicts enzyme turnover number (kcat) by fusing sequence and reaction representations. It couples with rational design in a two‐step strategy for Bacillus aryabhattai laccase engineering, achieving a 75% positive rate with synergistically enhanced ...

Temporal Trajectories of the Tau Aggregate Interactome Reveal Stage‐Specific Vulnerabilities in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tau populations with different aggregation states associate with distinct sets of proteins in the Alzheimer's disease brain. Proteomic discovery combined with single‐molecule analysis in neurons reveals dynamic associations involving proteostasis, metabolism and RNA biology.

Printing‐Assisted Integration of Thermal, Fluidic and Electrical Components in Implants for Focal Brain Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Extrusion‐based 3D printing of silicones and discrete electronic components are combined to create cortical implants for rodents that integrate thermal neuromodulation and electrical recording. Linked to an autonomous auxiliary driver unit, the system enables rapid, stable and localized hypothermia alongside ECoG recording.
