Graph Contrastive-and-Reconstructive Hashing for Unsupervised Cross-Modal Retrieval
Hashing-based unsupervised cross-modal retrieval has gained significant attention in the big data management community due to its low storage overhead and rapid retrieval speed. However, current methods often lack effective alignment strategies to reduce

ABSTRACT For over two decades, firms have built platforms and engaged open innovation communities to improve and customize their products through widened participation in the design process. While the benefits of involving those outside a firm as co‐designers have been well described, how co‐design processes unfold over time at the boundary between ...

Category-Level Contrastive Learning for Unsupervised Hashing in Cross-Modal Retrieval
Unsupervised hashing for cross-modal retrieval has received much attention in the data mining area. Recent methods rely on image-text paired data to conduct unsupervised cross-modal hashing in batch samples.

Abstract Despite the importance of the seasonal timing of events in the life cycle for understanding population dynamics, we lack information on the phenology of most macroalgal species. The red macroalga Gracilaria vermiculophylla has become common in both hard‐ and soft‐bottom habitats following its invasion throughout the Northern Hemisphere.

Abstract As people age, there is a natural decline in cognitive functioning and brain structure. However, the relationship between brain function and cognition in older adults is neither straightforward nor uniform. Instead, it is complex, influenced by multiple factors, and can vary considerably from one person to another.

Hear Me Out: A Lesson in Civil Discourse
Abstract This article describes an innovative and engaging lecture and class exercise designed to teach students how to think critically about issues from different perspectives and communicate effectively with those who disagree with them. The interactive lecture and class exercise introduce a civil discourse framework to encourage constructive ...

Weakly-paired Cross-Modal Hashing
Hashing has been widely adopted for large-scale data retrieval in many domains, due to its low storage cost and high retrieval speed. Existing cross-modal hashing methods optimistically assume that the correspondence between training samples across modalities are readily available. This assumption is unrealistic in practical applications.

A Survey for Deep Reinforcement Learning Based Network Intrusion Detection
This paper surveys deep reinforcement learning (DRL) for network intrusion detection, evaluating model efficiency, minority attack detection, and dataset imbalance. Findings show DRL achieves state‐of‐the‐art results on public datasets, sometimes surpassing traditional deep learning.
