General Diagnostic Tests for Cross Section Dependence in Panels

Social Science Research Network, 2020
This paper proposes simple tests of error cross section dependence which are applicable to a variety of panel data models, including stationary and unit root dynamic heterogeneous panels with short T and large N.

Cross-Sectional Studies

AJN, American Journal of Nursing, 2021
Editor's note: This article is one in a series on clinical research by nurses. The series is designed to give nurses the knowledge and skills they need to participate in research, step by step. Each column will present the concepts that underpin evidence-based practice—from research design to data interpretation.

3D investigation of the channel cross-section configuration effect on the power delivered by PEMFCs with straight channels

, 2020
In the present study, a three-dimensional (CFD) model is performed to investigate the effects of the channel cross-section shape on power density, pressure drop and local transport phenomena of the single straight channel PEMFC. 30 forms of channel cross-

Cross-sectional studies

American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, 2014
Across-sectional study is an observational study in which the exposure and the outcome are determined at the same time point for each study participant. Cross-sectional studies comprise the simplest individual-level observational study design and are usually relatively inexpensive and easy to conduct compared with case-control or cohort studies.

Day of the week and the cross-section of returns

Journal of Financial Economics, 2018
This paper documents a new empirical fact. Long-short anomaly returns are strongly related to the day of the week. Anomalies for which the speculative leg is the short (long) leg experience the highest (lowest) strategy returns on Monday.
