Neurovascular Contacts in the Pathophysiology of Neuralgic Amyotrophy: An Observational Study
ABSTRACT Objective Neuralgic amyotrophy (NA) is a prevalent, monophasic, multifocal immune‐mediated neuropathy. A distinctive characteristic of the disease is the occurrence of nerve or fascicle constrictions and torsions (NA‐associated focal nerve lesions, NAFL). The pathophysiology underlying this phenomenon remains to be fully elucidated.

Positive body image and childbearing intention: A cross-sectional study
Childbearing plays a crucial role in population movements and one of the most important factors in societal development. Nowadays, given the decrease in fertility rates, especially in developed and some developing countries, and the multitude of factors affecting these rates, this study aims to investigate the association of positive body image and ...

A 17 Year Old With Developmental Delay Presenting With Increasing Confusion and Imbalance
ABSTRACT Methylmalonic acidemia is an autosomal recessive genetic disorder primarily caused by defects in methylmalonyl‐CoA mutase and cobalamin (vitamin B12) metabolism. These defects disrupt the tricarboxylic acid cycle and oxidative phosphorylation, leading to the abnormal accumulation of metabolic products such as methylmalonic acid, propionic acid,

CALCULATION OF BREAKUP CROSS SECTION FOR FOUR-BODY BREAKUP REACTION SYSTEMS
We present a new method of smoothing discrete breakup cross sections calculated by the method of continuum-discretized coupled-channels. In the four-body breakup reaction of 12 C (6 He , nn4 He ) at E in = 229.8 MeV , the continuous breakup cross ...

Quenching of the weak axial coupling derived from the scattering of stopped-pion neutrinos on 127I
The need for quenching of the weak axial-vector coupling in calculations involving weak processes in nuclei is a well-known and long-standing problem arising from several contributing factors.

A Two‐Stage Questionnaire and Actigraphy Screening for iRBD in a Multicenter Retrospective Cohort
ABSTRACT Objective Isolated rapid‐eye‐movement sleep behavior disorder is a prodromal marker of synucleinopathies. However, most cases remain undiagnosed due to the insufficient predictive value of questionnaires and limited access to confirmatory video‐polysomnography. We assessed a two‐stage screening strategy combining a brief questionnaire on rapid‐

Plane Dyadic Wave Scattering by a Small Rigid Body and Cavity in 3D Linear Elasticity
In this paper, we study the 3D elastic scattering problem of plane dyadic waves for a rigid body and a cavity in linear elasticity. Initially, for each case, we formulate the direct scattering problem in a dyadic form, and we give the corresponding ...
