Crossing constraints for hyperon reactions

Physical Review C, 1988
The importance and usefulness of crossing is emphasized for both kaon scattering and kaon production reactions. It is argued, and numerically demonstrated for a chiral Lagrangian, that crossing provides powerful, comprehensive constraints which are often neglected in the evaluation of dynamical models.

Mechanochemical Cross-Coupling Reactions

Trends in Chemistry, 2020
In recent years, solvent-less mechanochemical organic transformations using ball milling have come to the forefront of organic synthesis as cleaner and sustainable synthetic alternatives. Apart from the environmental benefits, mechanochemical approaches potentially enable access to novel chemical space that has reactivities and selectivities different ...

Negishi cross-coupling reaction

2002
The Negishi cross-coupling reaction is the nickel- or palladium-catalyzed coupling of organozinc compounds with various halides or triflates (aryl, alkenyl, alkynyl, and acyl).

A Cross-Reaction in Resistance to Antibiotics

Nature, 1951
IN the course of routine laboratory work on sensitivity to antibiotics, a type of ‘cross-reaction’ in the development of resistance to them has been observed.

The kings cross fire: Psychological reactions

Journal of Traumatic Stress, 1995
AbstractThe psychological reactions of 50 survivors of the King's Cross fire, which hit London's underground railway system on the 18th day of November 1987, are described. Results are presented for the Impact of Event scale, the General Health Questionnaire (28‐item version), the Eysenck Personality Questionnaire and a King's Cross Event Schedule ...

Hiyama cross-coupling reaction

2002
Palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of organosilicons with organic halides, triflates, etc. In the presence of an activating agent such as fluoride or hydroxide (transmetallation is reluctant to occur without the effect of an activating agent).

Kumada cross-coupling reaction

2002
The Kumada cross-coupling reaction (also occasionally known as the Kharasch cross-coupling reaction) is a nickel- or palladium-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction of a Grignard reagent with an organic halide, triflate, etc. Along with Negishi, Stille, Hiyama, and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions, they belong to the same category of Pd-catalyzed cross ...

Specific reactions and cross reactions of anti‐penicilloyl antibodies

Allergy, 1987
In human sera the specific reactions and cross reactions of antibodies directed against the penicilloyl groups were determined using different penicilloyl derivatives as antigen. The penicilloyl group providing the highest litre in one Ig class was said to define the specific reaction for this Ig class.
