A Variational Beam Model for Failure of Cellular and Truss‐Based Architected Materials
Herein, a versatile and efficient beam modeling framework is developed to predict the nonlinear response and failure of cellular, truss‐based, and woven architected materials. It enables the exploration of their design space and the optimization of their mechanical behavior in the nonlinear regime. A variational formulation of a beam model is presented

Spray‐Assisted Fabrication of Cellulose Photonic Pigments on Superhydrophobic Surfaces
A method to directly produce structurally colored microparticles by drying cholesteric cellulose nanocrystal microdroplets on a superhydrophobic surface is reported. This approach has several key advantages that can unlock large‐scale fabrication of sustainable photonic pigments, including exploiting existing industrial techniques (e.g. aerosolization),

Electrically Tunable Momentum Space Polarization Singularities in Liquid Crystal Microcavities
Using a highly birefringent material embedded in a liquid crystal microcavity, the Rashba‐Dresselhaus resonance is obtained. In this regime, polarization singularities, known as C‐points, are observed in momentum space. The positions of these singularities can be modified by applying an external voltage to the sample.

A CTGF‐LYTAC nanoplatform is developed to selectively degrade connective tissue growth factor (CTGF) in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC), inhibiting TGF‐β signaling and cell interactions in the tumor microenvironment (TME). This strategy effectively suppresses tumor growth and metastasis, outperforming antibody‐based therapy.

Abstract Human population growth and climate change are stressors that continue to put pressure on current agricultural production systems. Cover crops (CC) as a means to improve soil health remain widely underused, particularly in the Lower Mississippi River Valley.

Abstract INTRODUCTION Temporal cortical microstructural changes precede cortical atrophy during memory decline. We used neurite orientation dispersion and density imaging (NODDI) to assess such early microstructural change. METHODS Cognitively unimpaired (CU, n = 725) and mildly cognitively impaired (MCI, n = 111) participants from the Mayo Clinic ...

Abstract INTRODUCTION Alzheimer's disease (AD) blood biomarkers hold clinical potential but their concentration may vary with somatic conditions. METHODS We investigated the concentration of six AD blood biomarkers in relation to multimorbidity as disease count and four multimorbidity patterns in 2290 cognitively unimpaired older adults. RESULTS Levels
