The discovery of iron-based superconductors (FeSCs), with the highest transition temperature (Tc) up to 55 K, has attracted worldwide research efforts over the past ten years. So far, all these FeSCs structurally adopt FeSe-type layers with a square iron

This study examines the surface characteristics of AlInP (001), crucial for advanced solar cells and photoelectrochemical devices. Using theoretical modeling and experiments, it identifies how phosphorus‐rich and indium‐rich surfaces create mid‐gap states that pin the Fermi level and influence ultrafast electron dynamics.

Crossovers from parity conserving to directed percolation universality
The crossover behavior of various models exhibiting phase transition to absorbing phase with parity conserving class has been investigated by numerical simulations and cluster mean-field method. In case of models exhibiting Z_2 symmetric absorbing phases

Electron-vibration interaction in single-molecule junctions: from contact to tunneling regime [PDF]
Point contact spectroscopy on a H2O molecule bridging Pt electrodes reveals a clear crossover between enhancement and reduction of the conductance due to electron-vibration interaction.

MSH2 shapes the meiotic crossover landscape in relation to interhomolog polymorphism in Arabidopsis
During meiosis, DNA double‐strand breaks undergo interhomolog repair to yield crossovers between homologous chromosomes. To investigate how interhomolog sequence polymorphism affects crossovers, we sequenced multiple recombinant populations of the model ...

High‐Entropy Magnetism of Murunskite
The study of murunskite (K2FeCu3S4) reveals that its magnetic and orbital order emerges in a simple I4/mmm crystal structure with complete disorder in the transition metal positions. Mixed‐valence Fe ions randomly occupy 1/4 of the tetrahedral sites, with the remaining 3/4 being filled by non‐magnetic Cu+ ions.

Crossover in the Efimov spectrum [PDF]
A filtering method is introduced for solving the zero-range three-boson problem. This scheme permits to solve the original Skorniakov Ter-Martirosian integral equation for an arbitrary large Ultra-Violet cut-off and to avoid the Thomas collapse of the three particles.

Genome-Wide Association Study of Meiotic Recombination Phenotypes
Meiotic recombination is an essential step in gametogenesis, and is one that also generates genetic diversity. Genome-wide association studies (GWAS) and molecular studies have identified genes that influence of human meiotic recombination.
