Inverse Design of Metal‐Organic Frameworks for CH4/N2 Separation Enabled by Coupled Machine Learning and Genetic Algorithms

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A machine learning‐guided genetic algorithm is employed to explore metal‐organic frameworks (MOFs) for CH4/N2 separation. By combining predictive modeling with adaptive evolution, the approach identifies high‐selectivity candidates featuring fsc topologies and polycyclic ligands, offering an efficient route to discovering high‐performance separation ...

Synergistic Ni‐Co Metal Nodes in a Conjugated MOF‐Modified Separator for High‐Performance Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this work, the employment of cMOFs is reported as modified materials for LSB separators. It is proved that cMOF with in‐plane d‐π conjugation is a good barrier layer for constructing high‐performance LSBs. Through a series of in situ and non in situ electrochemical examinations, LSB assembled with Ni1.35Co1.65(HHTP)2 separator exhibits excellent ...

Electrochemical Synthesis of High‐Valent Metal Oxides via In Situ Oxidant Generation with Real‐Time Phase and Composition Control

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study presents a scalable electrochemical method for synthesizing high‐valent metal oxide powders with controlled phases and in situ metal doping. Reactive oxidants are generated and modulated electrochemically, enabling selective phase transformation and compositional tuning.

Engineering Bulk Photovoltaic Effect in 2D Transition Metal Dichalcogenides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Structural and phase engineering in two‐dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides (2D TMDs), through lattice distortion, phase transitions, and polarization modulation, to induce the bulk photovoltaic effect (BPVE) for optoelectronic and energy conversion applications.
