Crosstalk pulsewidth calculation
Microelectronics Journal, 2008Generally, it is better to use closed form expressions instead of simulation tools to predict coupling effects in a circuit and evaluate noise voltages characteristics. A new RLC crosstalk noise expression, based on an RLC transmission line model propagating each propagation mode, has recently been proposed and has been validated in previous works ...

The initial discovery of leptin, an appetite-suppressing hormone originating from fat tissue, substantially supported the idea that fat-borne factors act on the brain to regulate food intake and energy expenditure. Since then, a growing number of cytokines have been found to be released from adipose tissue, thus acting in an endocrine manner.

Crosstalking second messengers
Nature Microbiology, 2020By competing for the same binding site on SmbA, a regulatory nucleotide-binding protein, the bacterial second messengers c-di-GMP and (p)ppGpp inversely balance cell cycle re-entry of growth-arrested swarmer cells of Caulobacter crescentus.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) remains a major clinical challenge, especially in combination with acute lung injury (ALI). Clinical as well as experimental studies have provided evidence for clinically relevant kidney-lung interactions, ultimately leading to a drastic reduction in survival.
