Abstract Based on the two-band nesting model with infinite numbers of higher harmonics, we investigate the incommensurate spin-density-wave (ISDW) states in Cr and Cr-rich Cr-Mn and Cr-V alloys. Various physical properties are explained in a consistent manner. We emphasize the two-energy-gap structure of the ISDW.
