Abstract At least 70% of patients improve symptomatically or demonstrate recovery in left ventricular systolic function with cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT). This is a more consistent and significant result than seen with any individual pharmacological agent. CRT improves symptoms, quality of life, and exercise tolerance.
