Antenna Effect in Halogen‐Containing ZnSm Coordination Compounds: Utilizing Colorimetry for a Room‐Temperature Tunable Ratiometric Molecular Thermometer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
The ZnSm‐Cl dinuclear molecular complex was synthesized through a simple one‐pot method. ZnL and Sm3+ exhibit complementary temperature‐dependent emission As the temperature increases, a noticeable color difference of ZnSm‐Cl can be observed within the room temperature range of 253‐333 K.

Threshold Cointegration in BRENT crude futures market [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper, using a threshold vector error-correction (TVECM) model, examines whether BRENT crude spot and futures oil prices are cointegrated. By employing this methodology we are able to evaluate the degree and dynamics of transaction costs resulting ...

Crude oil desulfurization [PDF]

open access: yes, 1982
High sulfur crude oil is desulfurized by a low temperature (25-80 C.) chlorinolysis at ambient pressure in the absence of organic solvent or diluent but in the presence of water (water/oil=0.3) followed by a water and caustic wash to remove sulfur and ...

Scalable Wheat Bran‐Algae Composites for Edible Electronics with Spray‐Coated Food‐Grade Conductive Inks

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A fully edible wheat bran–algae substrate is fabricated through scalable mould‐compression and spray‐coating, enabling robust, food‐grade platforms for sustainable electronics. A chitosan barrier improves water resistance and ink compatibility, while activated‐carbon conductive films form uniform electrodes with Ohmic behaviour.

From Materials to Systems: Challenges and Solutions for Fast‐Charge/Discharge Na‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This review systematically analyzes the key characteristics limiting the fast‐charge/discharge capability of Na‐ion batteries (SIBs) from a multi‐scale perspective encompassing electrode materials, the electrode‐electrolyte interface, and the system. Furthermore, it presents practical solution strategies for the fundamental issues arising at each scale,

Simulation of medium- and long-term crude oil demand scenarios in China based on system dynamics

open access: yesYou-qi chuyun
Objective With the implementation of the "dual carbon" strategy and the rapid development of the new energy system, there is consensus in the industry that China's crude oil consumption is approaching a plateau and will gradually decline. In this context,
