In Situ Reconstructed Corrosion‐Resistant POxy− Prolongs Electrode Lifespans for Efficient Ampere‐Level Water/Seawater Oxidation

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
The precatalyst FeP–NiP@NF is rapidly prepared by mild chemical plating (298 K) to achieve efficient catalytic activity for seawater oxygen evolution reaction (η1000 = 349/358 mV). The reconstituted phosphate anion (POxy−) electrostatically repels chloride ions (Cl−) to prevent electrode corrosion.
