On the minimum radius of strange stars with crust [PDF]
The minimum value of the radius of strange star covered by the crust of nuclear matter is determined. The results for the maximum possible thickness of the crust (up to the neutron drip) as well as the possibility of thinner crust postulated by some authors are discussed. The minimum radius of the strange star with maximal crust is 5.5 km.

Cumulate causes for the low contents of sulfide-loving elements in the continental crust [PDF]
Despite the economic importance of chalcophile (sulfide-loving) and siderophile (metal-loving) elements (CSEs), it is unclear how they become enriched or depleted in the continental crust, compared with the oceanic crust.

The power crust is a construction which takes a sample of points from the surface of a three-dimensional object and produces a surface mesh and an approximate medial axis. The approach is to first approximate the medial axis transform (MAT) of the object.

Hydrogen Drives Part of the Reverse Krebs Cycle under Metal or Meteorite Catalysis
Hydrogen is a geological reducing agent that powers the metabolisms of modern organisms and potentially also powered the metabolism of the last universal common ancestor to all extant life. It is shown that catalytic amounts of transition metals or small amounts of powdered meteorites allow hydrogen to drive a key sequence of the reverse Krebs cycle ...

We present the first finding of continental crust-derived Precambrian zircons in garnet/spinel pyroxenite veins within mantle xenoliths carried by the Neogene Hannuoba basalt in the central zone of the North China Craton (NCC).

TRANSVERSE ISOTROPIC CRUST STRUCTURE BENEATH THE NORTHWEST AND CENTRAL NORTH ANATOLIA REVEALED BY SEISMIC SURFACE WAVES PROPAGATION [PDF]
The Anatolian crust, which is abnormally hot, is widely deformed by subduction related volcanism. Suture zones, transform faults, thrusts and folds and metamorphic core complexes add to the geological complexity.

Continued cooling of the crust in the neutron star low-mass X-ray binary KS 1731-260 [PDF]
Some neutron star low-mass X-ray binaries have very long outbursts (lasting several years) which can generate a significant amount of heat in the neutron star crust. After the system has returned to quiescence, the crust then thermally relaxes.
