INDUCED EARTHQUAKES CORRELATIONS WITH EARTH’S CRUSTAL THICKNESS
In this paper, we carried out an investigation about the possible causes for enhancement of earthquakes in USA over the last seven years. From our calculations, indications set forth that the increased evolution of the quakes in the country is due to the human actions.

Bi nanoparticle (NP)‐integrated nitrogen‐doped carbon (Bi@nCN) is synthesized via a scalable one‐step carbothermal reduction. Bi NPs dispersed in the carbon matrix relieve stress during the two‐phase alloying reaction, resulting in the excellent electrochemical performance even in chloride‐free electrolytes, and highlighting Bi@nCN as a key enabler for

Tectonic evolution of a continental collision zone: A thermomechanical numerical model [PDF]
We model evolution of a continent-continent collision and draw some parallels with the tectonic evolution of the Himalaya. We use a large-scale visco-plasto-elastic thermomechanical model that has a free upper surface, accounts for erosion and deposition

Abstract Aims Population pharmacokinetic (popPK) and pharmacokinetic‐pharmacodynamic (PK/PD) models were developed to support clinical development of nemolizumab, a humanized monoclonal antibody targeting the IL‐31 receptor α, in adolescents and adults with moderate‐to‐severe atopic dermatitis (AD).

Spatial Interpolation Applied a Crustal Thickness in Brazil
The use of spatial interpolation methods of data is becoming increasingly common in geophysical analysis, for that reason, currently, several software already contain many of these methods, allowing more detailed studies. In the present work four interpolation methods are evaluated, for the crustal thickness data of Brazil tectonic provinces, with the ...

Towards a material‐dialogic theory of climate teacher education: A global North–South dialogue
Abstract This paper develops a novel theoretical stance for reimagining initial teacher education (ITE) through genuine North–South dialogue that challenges dominant Global North paradigms in teacher education. Drawing on collaborative inquiry between researchers from England and Chile, we synthesise material‐dialogic space theory (derived from Global ...

Analysis of conversions between compressional and shear waves is a workhorse method for constraining crustal and lithospheric structure on Earth; yet, such converted waves have not been unequivocally identified in seismic data from the largest events on ...

Oceanic Core Complex die off and generation of enhanced mantle upwelling on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge - 22° N [PDF]
EGU2011-13199 Images of crustal construction provide a key to understand the interplay of magmatism and tectonism while oceanic crust is build up. Bathymetric data show that the crustal construction is highly variable.
