Early Rhythm Versus Rate Control in Older Adults With New‐Onset Atrial Fibrillation: A Propensity Score–Matched Analysis

In a large propensity score–matched real‐world cohort of older adults with newly diagnosed atrial fibrillation, early rhythm control was associated with lower thromboembolic and bleeding risk but higher mortality and arrhythmic complications compared with rate control.
