Temperature Stratification in a Cryogenic Fuel Tank [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Thermophysics and Heat Transfer, 2013
A reduced dynamical model describing temperature stratification effects driven by natural convection in a liquid hydrogen cryogenic fuel tank has been developed. It accounts for cryogenic propellant loading, storage, and unloading in the conditions of normal, increased, and micro- gravity.

Study on Natural Gas Decarbonization Process Based on CO2 Desublimation Characteristics

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Natural gas decarbonization is a crucial processing step. In this study, the snow separation technology for removal of carbon dioxide in natural gas based on CO2 desublimation characteristics was introduced. The phase equilibrium calculation of CH4‐CO2 and N2‐CO2 system was carried out by using cubic equations of states (EOSs), and identified ...

Technobiological Pathways for High‐CO₂ Capture Using Micro‐/Macroalgae: Genetic Engineering, Process Automation, and Value‐Added Bioproducts

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have emerged as one of the most critical drivers of climate change; this is primarily due to high concentrations and long atmospheric life of carbon dioxide (CO2). For a significant amount of time, various biological processes such as microalgal cultivation, cyanobacterial systems, photosynthetic microorganisms ...
