Evaluation of the cryosurgery for treatment of squamous cell carcinoma in cats
The cryosurgery is a very useful therapy for the treatment of a variety of neoplastic and non-neoplastic processes. Nevertheless, it is still poorly described as an option for the treatment of specific cutaneous neoplasms, such as squamous cell carcinoma.

Case A 5‐year‐old boy presented with right‐hand pain and was diagnosed with a bone tumor in his fifth metacarpal. Because the patient wished to resume sports activities, endoscopic curettage (ESC) was performed. The pathological diagnosis of the tumor was aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC).

Basal cell carcinomas (BCC) on the genital area account for less than 1% of all BCCs. Surgical management is indicated. Recurrence rate of vulvar BCC has been reported to be 10-20%. Mohs micrographic surgery (MMS) is a superior surgical option.
