A study of the Turkish Cryptini IV. (Cryptinae : Ichneumonidae : Hymenoptera)

Faunistic data of 39 species belonging to the tribe Cryptini from Cryptinae subfamily were studied. All species were collected from Isparta and surrounding districts between 2001 and 2004. General distribution of each species was given. Among them, 9 species noted in the text by asterisk are new records for the Turkish fauna.

The types of 38 taxa of the subfamily Cryptinae (= Gelinae = Phygadeuontinae) described by Wolter Hellén are revised. Two new synonyms are indicated: Phygadeuon austriacus (Gravenhorst), syn. lselix elfvingi Hellén, and Hedylus crassicornis Ashmead, syn. Aclastus setosus Hellén. Lectotypes are designated for four species.
