Secondary organizing pneumonia (bronchiolitis obliterans with organizing pneumonia) associated with adalimumab for treatment of chronic plaque psoriasis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Organizing pneumonia is defined histopathologically by intra-alveolar buds of granulation tissue, consisting of intermixed myofibroblasts and connective tissue. The pathological pattern of organizing pneumonia may be idiopathic or related to a determined

Myofibroblasts proliferation of idiopathic and collagen vascular disorders associated nonspecific interstitial pneumonia. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) has been recognized as a separate histological classification of interstitial lung disease. Similar features are found not only in idiopathic NSIP, but also in NSIP associated with collagen vascular disorder (CVD-

Utility of BioFire FilmArray Pneumonia Panel Plus in a High‐Risk Cohort: Children Post Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 72, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary complications due to infection contribute significantly to post‐haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT) morbidity and mortality. Standard microbiological investigations, when performed on bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid, can take days to weeks to confirm a diagnosis.

Human and Deep Learning Predictions of Peripheral Lung Cancer Using a 1.3 mm Video Endoscopic Probe

open access: yesRespirology, Volume 30, Issue 9, Page 861-870, September 2025.
Direct endoscopic visualisation of peripheral pulmonary nodule smaller than 2 cm is feasible using a miniaturised video endoscopy probe, and this endoscopic imaging of these peripheral lung lesions can predict malignancy with high accuracy, both by human eyes and a deep learning generated prediction model.

Semaglutide‐Induced Silent Aspiration: An Unrecognised Cause of Organising Pneumonia

open access: yesRespirology Case Reports, Volume 13, Issue 7, July 2025.
Semaglutide, a GLP‐1 receptor agonist, may contribute to silent aspiration in high‐risk patients by delaying gastric emptying. This case highlights organising pneumonia secondary to microaspiration in a patient on CPAP therapy and Semaglutide, with marked radiographic improvement following corticosteroids.
